Recording a sale or correcting a holding in my existing manual account

On an existing manual investment account: record a sale, correct a quantity, a buying price or a euro fund's value, and delete a line.

Written by Pierre-Luc Schaming

This article covers your existing manual investment accounts, the ones without a History tab. For an account tracked from your transactions, see Modifier ou supprimer une transaction de mon compte manuel (in French).

Edit a holding

  • On the web: in the Holdings tab, click the … at the end of the line, then Edit. Correct the Quantity or the Buying price per unit, then click Done.

  • On mobile: in the Holdings tab, tap the line, then Edit. Correct the Quantity or the Buying price, then confirm with the check mark at the top of the screen.

For a euro fund, you edit its Current value, invested amount or Annual yield the same way. To learn more about the buying price, see Editing an asset's buying price.

Record a sale

  • Partial sale: edit the line and reduce the Quantity by the number of units sold, without changing the buying price.

  • Full sale: delete the line (see below).

⚠️ An existing manual account keeps neither the history of your sales nor your realised gain. To track them, create an account tracked from your transactions: Suivre mon compte d'investissement à partir de mes transactions (in French).

Delete a holding

  • On the web: click the … at the end of the line, then Delete, and confirm.

  • On mobile: tap the line, then Delete, and confirm.

Deleting is permanent.
