This article covers your existing manual investment accounts, the ones without a History tab. For an account tracked from your transactions, see Ajouter des positions et des transactions à mon compte manuel (in French).
Add a security or a unit-linked fund
Open the account, then the Holdings tab.
On the web, click Add holding. On mobile, tap the + button at the bottom right. On a life insurance, capitalisation, PER, PERP, Madelin or article 83 contract, then choose Unités de compte (UC).
Search for the share, fund or ETF by name or ISIN and select it. Your account is already selected in Account.
Enter the Quantity and the Buying price (the price paid per unit), then click Submit.
The line's value then follows the market automatically.
Record a new purchase
Bought more of a security you already track? No need to recalculate your average cost. Follow the steps above, select the same security (same ISIN), and enter only this new purchase: the quantity bought and its buying price. Finary adds it to your existing line and recalculates your average cost (PRU) as a weighted average.
⚠️ For a purchase, don't edit the existing line: you would then have to recalculate your average cost yourself.
Add a euro fund
A euro fund can be added to a manually added life insurance, capitalisation, PER, PERP, Madelin or article 83 contract.
Open the contract, then the Holdings tab.
On the web, click Add holding, then Fonds euro. On mobile, tap +, then Fonds euro.
Fill in:
Contract Name (on mobile: Name)
Invested Amount: your contributions to this fund (on mobile, enter this amount in Buying price)
Current value: the fund's current valuation
Annual yield: your fund's annual yield, used to project your fees in the Fee scanner
Click Submit.
Your euro fund keeps the value you entered: remember to update its Current value after your contract's annual revaluation (see Recording a sale or correcting a holding in my existing manual account).
ℹ️ Only a manually added contract can take a euro fund entered by hand: on a synced contract, the holdings come from the sync. A PEA or a brokerage account holds no euro fund.
