Add Private Equity to my portfolio

You can track your Private Equity investments on Finary. Depending on the type of investment, you have several options.

Option 1: Other Assets (most common)

For most Private Equity investments (unlisted funds, FCPR, club deals, etc.):

1. Click Add, accessible from any page on your profile

2. Select Other Assets

3. Choose the Private Equity category

4. Enter the name of your investment, its current value, and the other requested information

5. Confirm the addition

Option 2: Startups

If you hold shares in a startup (equity, BSPCE, BSA, etc.), you can add it via the Startups category:

1. Click Add

2. Select Startups

3. Search for the company or add it manually

Option 3: Stocks & Funds (listed funds with ISIN code)

If your Private Equity fund is publicly listed and has an ISIN code, you can add it via the Stocks & Funds category. This allows you to benefit from automatic valuation updates.

1. Click Add

2. Select Stocks & Funds

3. Search for the fund by name or ISIN code

What value should I enter? (manual addition)

For Private Equity funds added manually (via Other Assets or Startups), we recommend entering only the capital called amount, i.e., the amount actually invested to date.

The committed capital does not reflect the actual value of your investment until it has been fully called by the fund.

💡 Remember to manually update the value after each capital call or valuation update from your fund manager.
