Once your Finary Invest account is validated, you can deposit money at any time. Here’s how to proceed:
Go to the Invest tab in your Finary account.
Click on the Deposit button to access your unique IBAN.
Make a transfer from your bank's app or website by entering this IBAN.
💡 Tip: You can also set up recurring transfers to automate your investments through our investment plans.
What types of transfers are accepted?
SEPA transfers only: We accept transfers from bank accounts located in the SEPA zone (European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Monaco, etc.).
Euro transfers: Only transfers in euros are accepted.
Instant transfers: These are also accepted if your bank allows transfers to accounts located in Germany.
⚠️ Important:
Transfers must come from a bank account in your name. You must be the account holder or co-holder (for a joint account).
We cannot accept new users or transfers from the French overseas territories (DROM-COM), including Réunion, French Polynesia, and Saint-Barthélemy.
How long does it take for a transfer to appear on Finary Invest?
Instant SEPA: you'll receive the funds in less than 10 seconds on Finary
Standard transfer: if your bank does not handle instant transfers, the funds will take between 1 and 3 business days to arrive. Note that even if your bank supports instant SEPA, some specificities may prevent you from using instant transfers. Some examples are:
A daily instant transfer amount limit (often 2000€)
Not having a credit or debit card linked to your checking account (Crédit Agricole)
Instant transfers to foreign banks not allowed
💡 Good to know
Every transfer must be verified by your bank and our banking partner. That's why a transfer (even instant transfer) can sometimes take longer to appear.
If your transfer does not appear after 72 hours, please check with your bank to confirm that the transfer was executed. If needed, contact us by providing proof of the transfer and the sender's IBAN.
Common Issues and Solutions
Adding an international IBAN:
Finary Invest IBANs are now German (replacing the previous French IBANs). If your bank is outside Germany, make sure to select "international beneficiary" when adding it.
If you are unable to add the IBAN, contact your bank to have them add the beneficiary on your behalf.
Transfers from joint accounts:
Joint accounts are accepted, but we may require an IBAN showing both account holders' full names for verification purposes.
Fund Security
Your funds are completely secure:
Finary never mixes user-deposited funds with its own funds.
Funds deposited via our partner Fiat Republic are also kept separate from their corporate funds.
In case of bankruptcy of Finary or Fiat Republic, your funds remain independent and recoverable.
Why do I need to make a transfer to use Finary Invest?
As a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) registered with the AMF, Finary must comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT) regulations. This includes:
Verifying that the bank account used for your deposits is in your name.
Potentially requesting additional information on the origin of your funds to comply with European regulations.
Are there deposit limits?
There are no specific limits on deposits or investments. However, proof of the origin of funds may be requested to comply with regulatory requirements.
