How to Perform a Swap?
With Finary Invest, you can easily exchange your cryptocurrencies using the swap feature. Here’s a detailed guide to help you execute a swap:
Log in to your Finary account.
Go to the Invest tab.
Select the cryptocurrency you want to exchange.
Click on Swap, then choose the cryptocurrency you want to receive in return.
Enter the amount of cryptocurrency to exchange and confirm the transaction.
Your swap will be executed quickly, and the new cryptocurrencies will appear directly in your portfolio.
Swap Pair Availability
The swap feature is not available for all cryptocurrencies. The pairs on offer evolve and depend on the liquidity available on the markets: a pair is only enabled once liquidity is sufficient, to avoid significant slippage on your order.
To see the pairs currently available, open the app, select the cryptocurrency you want to exchange and tap Swap: the list shown is the set of cryptocurrencies you can receive in return. We are expanding this selection progressively.
If your swap fails
If confirming your swap ends with an error message, no order is placed and no amount is debited. Two options:
Go through euros: sell the source cryptocurrency (Sell button), then buy the one you want. Fees apply to each of the two operations, versus a single fee for a direct swap.
Contact us from the app (Manage my account > Need help), specifying the two cryptocurrencies involved, so we can check whether the pair is available.
