Your MATIC tokens on Finary Crypto will be automatically converted to POL in August 2025. Here’s what you need to know.
What is changing?
Polygon is replacing its MATIC token with a new token, POL, to support future network growth. Bitstamp by Robinhood—Finary’s crypto partner—is fully supporting this upgrade.
All MATIC held on Finary Crypto will be automatically converted to POL at a 1:1 ratio. You don’t need to take any action.
Key dates and how they affect you
📆 March 2025: End of the MATIC yield program
Rewards were paid up until this date
Final rewards were credited by March 10, 2025
Lent tokens were automatically returned to your account
📆 August 14, 2025:
You will no longer be able to buy or sell MATIC on Finary
MATIC deposits and withdrawals will be disabled. Do not deposit any MATIC after this date.
These deposits could be lost and cannot be recovered.
📆 August 20, 2025:
All your MATIC will be automatically converted to POL at a 1:1 rate
No action is required on your part
📆 August 26, 2025:
POL will be partially available: you’ll be able to deposit/withdraw POL to/from Finary
📆 End of September 2025:
POL is expected to be fully available: you’ll be able to buy and sell POL on Finary
Important notes before the migration
🔒 POL deposits are not supported before August 26, 2025
⛔ The yield program for MATIC is currently unavailable
⚠️ Depositing unsupported tokens may result in permanent loss of funds
