Wallet verification & Travel Rule

To comply with European regulations, Finary may ask you to verify that you own the sending wallet, in particular in certain cases (e.g. large transfers).

What about fees?

Finary does not charge fees for your crypto deposits, but you will need to cover network fees and any fees charged by the sending exchange.

FAQ

I can't generate new deposit addresses. Why?

Make sure you have already received a SEPA transfer on your Finary Crypto account. The first deposit must be a SEPA transfer (a card deposit cannot be used as a first deposit). Once this transfer is received, you can generate your crypto deposit addresses. The amount does not matter.

I sent POL (or MATIC) on the Polygon network. What should I do?

Finary only accepts POL on the Ethereum network. Contact the support team: we will check whether recovery is possible, with no guarantee.

I transferred a crypto that you do not support. What can I do?

Please contact the customer support team. We will check whether the funds can be recovered, with no guarantee.

I transferred crypto to the wrong address. What should I do?

If the address does not belong to Finary, we cannot recover the funds: only the person who controls that address can. If you think you sent your crypto to an old Finary deposit address, contact the support team: we will check whether recovery is possible, with no guarantee.

I don't see my crypto added to my balance, even though the transfer was successfully made to the correct address. Why?

Every incoming deposit is reviewed by our compliance team. This process can sometimes take longer. In some cases, our compliance team will contact you and ask for additional information if needed.

Please note that deposits from platforms that are not approved in France, for example gambling sites such as Stake.com, cannot be accepted.
