The first sync of the account is recent
💡 If you've just synced an account, transactions can take up to 24 hours to appear.
Where to find your transactions
Each synced account now has a Transactions tab on its detail page: open the account from Portfolio, then go to the Transactions tab. From there, the See on budget link takes you to the matching entry in your Budget.
To learn how to navigate the asset view, see "Getting to know the asset view".
The provider doesn't return transactions yet
Finary uses several providers to retrieve your account data, and transactions aren't yet available from all of them. Today, transactions are retrieved for institutions synced through Powens and Plaid, as well as for Finary Life contracts.
For other sources — for example private banks synced through Flanks, or Finary's own in-house integrations — transactions aren't returned yet.
A specific transaction is missing
You synced a bank through Powens, but one specific transaction isn't showing up?
Check the time of the last sync. On average, banks update transactions once per business day: a Monday transaction appears on Tuesday, and Saturday's transactions show up on Monday afternoon.
If the transaction is older and still doesn't appear, contact our support team with a screenshot of the missing transactions as displayed on the institution's website and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
⚠️ Also make sure the categories matching your transactions are selected — otherwise they won't be displayed.
