Do I really own my cryptos on Finary?

Learn more about crypto custody on Finary Invest

Written by Pierre-Luc Schaming

When you buy cryptocurrencies through Finary Crypto, your assets are held by Dfns, our depositary.

Your buy and sell orders are executed through Aplo, our execution broker.

Finary has been authorised as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) by the French Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) since 7 July 2026, under the European MiCA regulation.

Your cryptocurrencies are held in your own name, not in the name of Finary.

In the event of Finary's bankruptcy, your cryptocurrencies remain safe. They are your exclusive property. This means that your assets could not be used to repay Finary's creditors under any circumstances.

To learn more about our MiCA authorisation, see this article.

🔐 You can withdraw your cryptocurrencies at any time by transferring them to another platform or a personal wallet. To learn more, go to this article.
