Want to add the Bitcoin stored on your Ledger to your Finary portfolio? Follow this guide to get the public key ("xpub") you need.
How do I get the xpub key of my Ledger wallet?
Follow Ledger's instructions to generate your xpub address:
💡 Without this public address, your Bitcoin balance cannot sync: your address changes with every transaction you receive. More information here.
I have my xpub address: how do I sync my wallet?
On Finary, go to Add assets and choose the Crypto category.
Choose how to add your crypto: select Crypto Wallet.
In the Name field, name the Bitcoin address so you can find it later. Then paste the xpub key you generated earlier into the Address field, and click Next.
Once the sync is complete (it may take a few minutes), your balance appears in Portfolio.
⚠️ Taproot addresses are not supported yet.
