With this article you will be able to:
create the API key you need to link your Binance account with Finary
add it via the Finary web app
add it via the Finary mobile app
reconnect Binance when the API key is revoked
ℹ️ Once your Binance account is synchronized, its value will be updated automatically. Whether you buy or sell positions, your Finary account will always be up to date. You will not be able to delete any Binance position on Finary.
Create a Binance API key for Finary
Log into your Binance account from a computer. API key management is in the right menu
Create an API key. We recommend that you name it "Finary" so you know who has access.
Verify your identity.
Check only "Allow reading" as below. Finary will never be able to place orders or withdraw funds from your account.
Your API key has been created. You can now link Binance to your Finary account.
Link Binance on the webapp
Click on Crypto
Click on Select
Click on Binance
This is where you will need to copy/paste the API key and the secret key. Please see the instructions below.
Copy and paste the API key and the secret key. Be careful, the secret key will be displayed only once, during the creation. If you don't copy it at that time, you will have to create a new one.
Synchronizing your account may take a few moments. If it fails, make sure you have pasted the 2 keys in the right place.
On the mobile app
In the Asset search, type "Binance" and select the first result

Scan the key's QR Code (super quick)
The initial synch can take a few minutes.
My Binance account is no longer synchronized (API key has been revoked)
If the API key you are using on Finary was revoked, here is what you can do:
do not delete your existing Binance connection (you may lose your account history)
create a new Binance API key for Finary
Go to the Crypto section of the webapp (not possible yet on mobile app)
Click on the 3 dots next to your Binance account
Click Edit
Follow the instructions to link a new Binance API key
Your account will be synchronized again
