A bullet loan (or in fine loan) is a type of loan where the principal is repaid in full at the end of the term, while only the interest is paid monthly. Here’s how to add one on Finary.

🧭 Steps to add a bullet loan

  1. Click Add an asset from your dashboard.

  2. Select Loan.

  3. Choose Manual entry.

  4. Enter a name for your loan, then in the Type field, select Bullet (In fine).

  5. Fill in the following information:

    • Loan amount: the initial borrowed capital

    • Interest rate: annual nominal interest rate

    • Start date: when interest payments begin

    • Duration: number of months or years until maturity

💡 Good to know

  • The displayed monthly payment is calculated based on interest only. The principal will be fully repaid at the end of the loan.
